My love of art has developed from a background in architecture, interior design, furniture design and interests in photography and sculpture, this combined with my passion for the natural world has shaped the foundation of my artwork. The ethos of my work is minimalism, I don't like rigidity and conformity, instead I try and reduce the detail to create simplistic forms and encourage the viewer to see what they see. My subject matter is influenced by the ever changing environment of the ocean helping me capture the pure essence of a moment and the connection within yourself to the natural world around you.
